There are no differences between the 8GB and 16GB model other
than storage capacity. With this model you can store up to 1,750
songs in 128-Kbps AAC format. You could also hold up to 10,000
iPod-viewable photos if you just wanted photos on you Touch. If
you just want to watch moves on your 8GB model iPod Touch you
would be able to store about 10 hours of video. Video capacity
is based on H.264 1.5-Mbps video at 640-by-480 resolution
combined with 128-Kbps audio.
